Three long hair cats. I have a Bissell and it sucks (not very well)

I need to buy one so I figure it might as well be a good one.
One of my friends think the Bissell brand is best.
I can pay up to $250 if necessary.
What would be your choice?

Had a Bissell which was about $50, well it didn’t last , and saw reviews on Eurekas, which were pretty good. Which do you use and where did you purchase your’s for a good price? Not looking for expensive models, just something under $60.
